↪ My story about how I break into this industry ✦

The moment I landed at SeaTac airport, I was intrigued by the volume button at the light stop, tactile paving or automatic doors. These thoughtful designs stand in stark contrast to Vietnam, where such accommodations are rare. Many educational websites lack audio components, despite the fact that knowledge is power—and I believe everyone deserves the right to access it.

It made me wonder: Why can’t we prioritize inclusive design instead of an exclusive one that empowers everyone?

This acknowledgement has motivated me to choose a different major in my college and now, I am proudly pursuing Informatics major, focusing on Human-Computer Interaction at the University of Washington.

I aspire to become a UI/UX designer focused on fostering diversity and equity, ensuring that my designs meet the needs of all users and create a world where no one is left behind.
